I live a few hours from my parents' farm in a place with plenty of almond orchards. On my way home the other day, I spotted our neighbor out protecting his crop with an application of pesticide. Growing up on an organic farm, we never sprayed and it's a family tradition I keep up in my own home where I'm raising a six and a nine year-old. Knowing what I do about almond production, I choose to feed my family Anderson Almonds and cross my fingers that the neighbor's spray stays within his property line.
